Colombia Technology

I made the proposal in the last electoral debate provide the Department with a wireless network for broadband and high speed internet access and if today was the Governor already would have fulfilled that promise. Would have done using the WI MAX technology (English Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) already by this time fairly widespread in Colombia and which allows connections at speeds similar to achieved with ADSL and distances of up to 60 kilometers, but without the hassle of cable. Viktor Mayer-Schönberger has plenty of information regarding this issue. The project would not cost more than 40 billion, but the benefit would be fabulous in areas such as education, culture, technology transfer, regional exports, competitiveness, communications the Government online, productivity, employment and job opportunities so elusive for these times. Imagine for a moment the scenario of having covered 60% or 70% of departmental geography with a wireless network and 100,000 or 150,000 students equipped with laptops enabling it to be connected 24 hours to the internet daily, taking the possibility of virtual training technology, University or postgraduate (offered yet by colleges, institutions or universities in the region, not to mention impressive international offer that is now available to anyone on the web), all without leaving their municipalities or the sidewalks of the Department. Wouldn’t all this a real educational revolution? Would not be these technological advances in increasing regional competitiveness? Not these initiatives raised would reduce rates of poverty and inequality in the region? JORGE EDUARDO AND CONSUELO: CONGRATULATIONS! The election, once again, of Jorge Eduardo Gechem to the Senate is the product of some good political decisions taken by him, after a long period of absence. Should also add that he was courageous, in his quality of ex-secuestrado, take the endorsement of the party that embodies the thesis more radically opposed to the ideology of those who kept him deprived of freedom during so long. Its more than 17,000 voters in Huila showed that Jorge Eduardo will remain an important player in the regional landscape and its more than 27,000 outside the Department left him in a good position against his party and political chess looming. Many congratulations, again, for his victory.

Consuelo Gonzalez also go my sincere congratulations for the curule obtained in a hand in hand within the list of Liberal unit in Huila. I am sure that your experience, its principles, its prudence and its preparation make it represent the Department’s outstanding, worthy and decent way. His triumph is a magnificent work product, a perseverance foolproof and an efficient team that made things with austerity, effort and mystique. Forward comfort because the best times are ahead! original author and source of the article.

Digital Light Processing

It is an array that manages the greater or lesser transparency of glass. It is a kind of network of switches (one per) pixel). In the street language the initials TFT or LCD are used almost interchangeably to identify this type of flat TVs. Plasma or PDP (Plasma Display Panel) a plasma screen is made up of a matrix of cells which in turn are composed of 3 sub-pixels (red, green and blue). Gas, xenon in plasma state reacts with phosphorus of each sub-pixel to produce colored light.

Each subpixel is individually controlled by a processor. OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) are points of organic electroluminescence which are simply placed in a matrix on the screen and illuminate, forming the image. They have shorter duration than LCD but they also consume much less. FED (Field Emission Display) and SED (Surface-conduction Electron-emitter Display) these very similar technologies can be understood as a combination between the CRT and the LCD. It is apply CRT miniaturized cell by cell of a flat screen, as if each cell is a minitelevisor.

DLP (Digital Light Processing) technology used in televisions is so called projection and rear projection. Basically a wheel of light emits the primary colors (red, green and blue) and they are redirected to the screen by a system of mirrors (one per pixel). Some models may show up to 35 trillion colors LCoS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) is very similar to DLP, also used in rear projection technology. The main difference is that instead of using mirrors use liquid crystals applied directly to the surface of a silicon chip. What is best? There is no one better than that. Each one has its advantages and disadvantages. They may have greater or lesser life, higher or lower resolution, more or less contrast, more or less consumption, greater or lesser cost, etc. Assess the needs that you want to cover and choose one of these technologies as a result is best in each case.

Luis Enrique

His sincere commitment with the region and love its people has led to promote and obtain resources in numerous projects of the productive sector, electrical, potable water, housing, roads, gas, educational and family welfare, in the vast majority of the municipalities of Huila. It is highlighting its leadership in the negotiation of the hydroelectric project of the Quimbo, where unlike what happened with Bethany, achieved additional compensation to the referred to in the law, such as the reduction of the rate of energy in Huila in 13%, the adequacy with 5,200 hectares irrigation, reforestation of 20,000 hectares, the construction of the perimeter with 6 ports, smallholders and workers compensation, the viaduct of 1.8 KM, the allocation of 17 billion to productive reconversion of the affected municipalities, among others, all achievements in which Luis Enrique had a unique role as spokesman for the bedplate huilense Congressional. In summary, Luis Enrique Dussan is a serious, studious, responsible, successful representative in its management and in political activity (remember that in his first election to the camera came out with the third vote of the Department and four years ago with the first), and warranty to Huila’s a formidable legislative work. Some of the people that a strong candidate for the next contest come in me and the governorate have hinted me separate me a bit of the candidacies of Rodrigo Villalba and Luis Enrique Dussan, but I answer them the same thing: I have an unshakeable commitment to my country and my region above my personal and political interests. Without underestimating the rest of candidates and with the intention to, on the one hand, that liberalism has a formidable representation in the Senate, and on the other, that retain the two seats in the Chamber, I will vote for Rodrigo Villalba and Luis Enrique Dussan for making sure of that are the best.
