French Hill

French Hill (in Hebrew:””””””’, HaGiv’a HaTzarfatit, the French Hill), also known as Giv’at Shapira (Hebrew:”””” ””””” ((in Arabic: Karm el-Wiz ‘) is a predominantly Jewish neighborhood located on the north-central city of Jerusalem. It is situated in territory captured during the War of the six days in 1967. It was annexed by Israel through a law known as Act of Jerusalem in 1980.
