In 1889, under contract with the city of Cordoba under the agency of John M. de la Serna, the Surveyor angel Machado ran the first cadastral survey of the city. More than 60 years after the work that makes up the chart plots maintained until today and 20 years after the last official plan of the city, currently under study a project in both its technical and technological aspects, allows the implementation a spatial data infrastructure (SDI) in the city of Cordoba, transforming the traditional concept of parcel maps and plans’ into a ‘database grafica only’ for all areas of government and municipal institutions and enterprises of the city.
