MS2900 Web cluster supports rack configurations of the Kontron SYMKLOUD of eight 2HE-Einheiten. Fit up to 2.5 cluster in a rack 42HE. Per cluster, only a subsystem is required for load-balancing, so that up to 186 multicore processors can operate in a 42HE-Rack. Thanks to an integrated load-balancing and high uplink capacity a 42HE rack without space-consuming and expensive additional equipment can be easily configured and managed. Simplified platform – and cluster – management Kontron has ensured that software updates are both on a platform like also rack-level as simple as possible: this can be achieved by the 1-click Update via the Web interface of the platform management, an integrated Board management controller (iBMC) with advanced options, support for SNMP and IPMI 2.0 remote management for diagnosis and provision.
