European Union Calls

The maximum responsible of the foreign policy of the European Union, Catherine Ashton, declares deeply concerned by the violence in the country. It requires open a path towards the fulfilment of the legitimate aspirations of the people. It warns that human rights activists are also attacked. The high responsibility of foreign policy of the European Union (EU), Catherine Ashton, has urged Tuesday the Syrian regime to put an end immediately to attacks and the repression of protests in the country, at the time that has demanded the release of detained protesters. Ashton pleaded deeply concerned about violence against activists of human rights, peaceful demonstrators and in general against the Syrian population.
